Shipping FAQ
The Souper Sisters: Frozen Shipping Policy
At The Souper Sisters, we take "souper" care to ensure your bowls of comfort arrive frozen fresh as the day they were made. Because our products are perishable, we have specific guidelines to ensure safe delivery.
1. Shipping Schedule
To prevent your soup from sitting in a shipping warehouse over the weekend, we only ship on Tuesdays.
- Orders placed after 8 AM EST on Monday will be shipped the following Tuesday.
- We do not ship on holidays.
2. Packaging & Temperature Control
We use paper fiber insulated box liners, gel packs and dry ice to keep our soups at safe temperatures for up to 48 hours. Our shipping boxes and paper fiber liners are curbside recyclable for convenient and environmentally friendly disposal.
- Handle with Care: If your order contains dry ice, do not touch it with bare hands. Use gloves or a towel to dispose of any remaining ice in a well-ventilated area.
3. Transit Times
We offer Next-Day and 2-Day Shipping only. Perishable items cannot be in transit for more than 48 hours. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package and place the soup in the freezer immediately upon arrival.
4. Delivery Policy (No Signatures Required)
To ensure the fastest delivery, all frozen orders are sent with "No Signature Required." Carriers will leave the package at your door. The Souper Sisters are not responsible for packages left outside for extended periods or stolen after delivery.
5. Thaw-Safe Guarantee
Your soup should arrive frozen or "refrigerator cold" (below 40°F).
- If it’s still cold: It is perfectly safe to place in your freezer or fridge!
- If it’s warm: In the rare event your soup arrives warm to the touch (above 40°F), do not consume it. Please take a photo and contact us at nicole@thesoupersisters.com within 24 hours so we can make it right.
6. Shipping Restrictions
- Currently, we only ship to the contiguous United States. We cannot ship frozen goods to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Hawaii, or Alaska at this time.
